This Post Is Meant For Tomrrow, But I Will Post It Now
Mood: d'oh Now Playing: Goooooo Toooooo Sleeeeeeeeeep Nooooooow... Wooooooo Finally!!!!
I have kept you all waiting much too long. =/ this is going to be a long one… (Lol)
I think we should start from the beginning, beginning. After Mississippi Mom left from her visit, I was taking care of Flyboy who had accidentally made himself really ill. He decided to pick all the decent looking pieces of lettuce out of the spoiled bag; that he forgot to close, so he could be “healthy” and have a salad for lunch. (Even though there was a perfectly fresh bag beneath the one he picked through. Very baffling to me I tell ya.) Anyway, it took him a few days to recover from that. He had nasty fevers and well it was just awful. (He is fine now) That weekend he was suppose to go TDY, well funds came up short and it went from a TDY to lets land at home every night. He flew on Saturday and Sunday, that of course threw me off a bunch. I have a hard enough time crew resting with him as it is, but two days in a row; and then having him gone on the weekend and home during the week… weird. He said he got to fly over the Grand Canyon and can’t wait to see it from ground level. =)
Well, because he volunteered to fly on the weekend, he was awarded two comp days, and since Monday was a day off for the wing, he didn’t have to be back to work until today. =) The time off has been fun together, working out and what not, but we have been getting some curveballs thrown at us we didn’t even know we were even playing baseball! Haha.
First off, I had noticed this smell in the bathroom. It wasn’t bad (since bad is 3 week soiled PT gear that someone didn’t wash… *shudders*), but it was enough that I noticed something. I figured it was just Flyboy’s towel, so I would wash it like every other day. I got really busy and stopped noticing it, until after Mississippi Mom pointed out that the toilet needed to be tightened down. So after she left I decided to head down to the office and have a work order drawn up. (They are closed on Sunday. That's why I decided to go on Monday) Well that night I noticed that after I flushed the toilet, it would leak from the base!?! So… I flushed it again, sure enough, it was leaking, and not just water, yucky water… Monday, I went to the office and they claimed they would get on it fast… 3 days later of course. I will say they are quicker with maintenance than the last apartments we were at. Then of course after he left the bath tub went from just “drip, dripping” to a decent stream… had to make another trip down there. (They fixed it yesterday ^_^) But on top of that, during one of our trips this week to the BX, I noticed that something was leaking inside my car, on MY side of the car. So I checked it out and apparently I am leaking clutch fluid! Not a good thing. I have to get it fixed before the brakes go out… That of course is going to cost a bushel. I am taking it to the shop to get it an estimate, and then we will go from there. Of course we have been saving up for a trip to my mom’s for Thanksgiving, and it is now looking like it may be postponed. =( We will know after the estimates. So I have been stressing about that. Then Monday, we contracted this worm on the computer. It is of course the latest one and it pretends to be from Microsoft! It is called MS Antivirus, XP Antivirus 2009, and so on and so forth. It is a nasty bugger. Flyboy and I got into the Operating System and resolved the issue. It disabled our internet as well as our spyware! I kind of feel accomplished after annihilating it. Hehe =) so, now we are back online and all is well.
Yesterday we got hit with a nasty storm; lots of rain and lightening and not to mention the thunder. It was pretty scary. I know it was a cold front that had moved it and the chances of tornadic activity were pretty much zero, but it still kept me up. =/ it was really cold yesterday, especially when we did our normal mailbox run. o.0 Though, I will say the trip was worth it, because guess what was in the mailbox?!? The Final Fantasy VII game I won off eBay for Flyboy. He played it when he was younger and wanted me to play it. It is his favorite game, but the thing is nowadays, that game is very hard to find, which means it is extremely expensive too. Expensive as in, on Amazon a nice copy goes for $200 bucks and on eBay the winning bid tends to be over $70, WAAAAY over $70. Well I came across this copy, that is black labeled (it means it is the original release, even more hard to find!), no scratches on the 3 discs and the instruction booklet in mint condition. The previous owner was a grown-up of course. ^_^ Anyway, I came across it merely because I was bored and just killing time. When I saw that there was only and hour left on the bid and it was at 50 bucks, along with the fact it is in awesome condition. So long story short I came out the winner (Flyboy had no clue, hehe. I surprised him with a copy of the receipt in his lunch for his Saturday flight ^_^). I won it for $60. It was a pretty awesome steal AND Flyboy’s been on cloud 9 since, and even more so that it showed up in the mail last night, it was a big morale boost. =) Well worth it.
Also on the plus side, I am sure everyone knows we have a credit card; its main use is to purchase big appliances and build up our credit. It can only be used on base and the interest rate is super low. I mean we took a long time with research and fine print reading before we made this decision. Anywho… they raised our limit by $300!!! Don’t worry, we won’t max it out or anything, I just think it is really awesome. =) We haven’t had the card for 6 months yet, and they raised it for us. We of course have been making payments ahead of the due date and what we have left over each month (after bills and a savings and emergency savings deposit) we put towards the card. It is really working out for us. The frustrating thing is that it is in Flyboy’s name so it is building up his already awesome credit. Though I am the one who needs the boost... Either way it is still a plus. Speaking of credit, my previous employer took care of that bill. I still think that the hospital screwed up. I did however have an investigation initiated on that company regarding that claim as well as that Cingular one. I have to wait 30 days or so before I get a report back from them. I am waiting patiently, you could say. But it is getting taken care of. =)
There even MORE good news… This work out I am doing is actually working! I have lost about ½ and inch around everything in a week and dropped 9 lbs. Of course 2 pounds were fat and the rest was water weight. But I am getting my curves back =D and my clothes are looking better on me. I Know I have a long way to go but at least I am progressing. Flyboy has been having me do inclined sit-ups, and I have been doing alright, I guess. I have been able to do about 15 easy and then 20 non stop and finishing up with 30 or so in the 2 minute time limit. Well today he had me do them without the incline and I did 40 in a row non stop! And they were the good ones that would have counted on a PT test. I finished with a total of 45 sit-ups! It felt AWESOME!!!! Flyboy was impressed too. My push-ups have been well, blah. On Monday, after 3 days of rest, I was able to do the first 10 with ease (ones that would have counted on a test) the rest were so, so and started to kill me. I like doing them barefoot rather than in tennis shoes. I can feel the burn everywhere like none other. So I am thinking tomorrow I will let my muscles rest from push-ups and resume them on day 5 of the work out. I of course will still run and do my sit-ups. I think I am improving a lot. =) I can’t wait to be able to run around that base trail with Flyboy. Hehe. I just wish the gym was a bit closer like it used to be before we moved. Oh well. =) They are remodeling the 24 hour gym in our complex (there are two of them) so as soon as they finish, all I have to do is walk about 100 feet and BAM! I can work out. How lazy is that? Hehe.
Today I am cleaning EVERYTHING. I got a bit lazy over Flyboy’s little comp day vacation. I have 2 baskets of laundry, lots of organizing and not to mention the evil pile of dishes… dun, dun, duuuun! That reminds me, Sunday; while he was flying I came up with this really sweet idea. I decided to surprise Flyboy with a nice dinner “out”. I think I had mentioned that in my last post, but I didn’t go into it because then it wouldn’t be a surprise. Anyway, I set up one of our small tables in the back yard, put a pillow case over it (I don’t have a table cloth) and set it as a romantic table for two. A while back we decided to try some of that French water, gross, but I liked the bottle and put some fake sunflowers in it (my favorite flower next to daisies), well I put that on the table as well as two wine glasses and a basket of home made rolls. I decided to make spaghetti with a side of salad and for dessert some Italian ice. Since we aren’t allowed to have candles I took his mini flashlight and took the top off of it so you could actually touch the bulb, and I set it in a candle holder. (It is supposed to come apart like that; it helps with the “sneaky, sneaky” thing when it is dark). Anyway when he got home I told him we were going “out” for dinner, a really fancy place, so we had to dress up and everything. I also had him make me a “romantic” playlist on the computer for me, while I was getting dressed. (It’s like a mix tape only; it is saved on the computer) I of course had the blinds shut, and he never looks out those blinds, so it was perfectly hidden. Hehe =) Needless to say he LOVED it and it was fun, corny and romantic all at the same time. Of course I played the romantic playlist during dinner. Hehe. Anyway, well that laundry is calling me and I need to get these things done so I can work out this after noon. I do apologize about slacking off on the entries; it has just been so frustrating. Luckily the bad is beginning to outweigh the good, though we will see for sure when the estimate on the car is given… *closes eyes real tight* and *shudders* in the corner…
I better go now. I hope everyone is doing great! We send our love, always!

Mood: irritated Now Playing: Library Buzz Well, we have a worm on the computer now and Flyboy and I are trying to get rid of it. We have to go through all the coding to find it. So... He has us logged off the internet until it has been eliminated. In other words I have to log on from the library. The posts will now be later in the day since it saves fuel. Plus I will need to wirte it all down on paper so I can type it up quickly here. I am very frustrated, first the toilet, then the tub, now the car and now this? I know I haven't updated you on all that, I will, don't worry. After PT I will start writing it all down than way I can type it up tomorrow. Sorry everyone =( I have to head out now, my time is up. (there are other people waiting) ~NikiRose 19 October 2008
Please Don't Ground Me.... *whimpers*
Mood: flirty Now Playing: Flyboy Do Transistions Over Our Apartment Teehee Sorry. =/ It's been a while, long while since I posted. I've been pretty busy and stressed lately and have had no patience to write because of it. My apologies. As I wrote in my last entry I am starting a new work our routine. I am actually enjoying it as well as the challange of accomplishing a task rgar would prove that I could handle Basic (at least the PT part). All these charts say I am morbidly obese and my weight for my height should be between 122-168 pounds. Below 122lbs is under weight and above 168 is over weight. So basically, I have been overweight since 6th grade?!? =/ Anywho, I am shooting for 168 or as close as humanly possible. Haha! I really can't wait to start running again and I'm even more excited about running the 3 mile Base Trail with Flyboy. (We used to walk it a lot when we were first dating. I miss it) I am also working on counting my calories as you've noticed. I have'nt been too hungry at meals like I used to. It could be all the water I have been drinking or this snacking all day thing, whatever it is, it is working. hehe =) Today I just got done with household chores that I had been putting off until I could stand it no more. I also put the groceries away... finally.I cooked a bunch of meat and then froze it. Tonight I have a surprise for Flyboy with dinner.(Since he may read this I will talk about it after it happens) This weekend he had to fly. It was suppose to be a TDY but do to the lack of funds, it is became something else. Hard to explain really. Anyway, I think he should be landing soon. =) (I can hear them flying over the house, it shouldn't be too long now) So him flying has thrown me off, not to mention everything else. Oh! Since he volunteered to fly over the weekend, he of course gets comp days out of it. And since Monday is a comp day for the Wing, he has Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday off and then goes back to work on Thursday. I think he has only worked a total of 10 days this week... Well, after Mississippi Mom left, we (oh look at that, I am pretty good. hehe. They just landed =) I will finish this up when I get back from picking him up. We are "going out" to dinner tonight so I will have plenty of time while he is getting ready. lol Be back soon)

Zoom Zoom Zoom..
Mood: on fire Now Playing: SHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh!!! Silence In The Library... Good Afternoon! I didn't think I was going to be out this late in the afternoon. (man this computer lags!! o.0) I am at the library waiting for Flyboy to be released. I decided against wasting money, driving ALL the way home to eat lunch just to drive ALL the way back to pick him up. I am here already (it is near the gym) so I might as well not waste gas and just stay here. right? He should be off around 1500 cross my fingers and then I can go home and have a snack before supper. My workout yesterday was AWESOME. Though today I woke up a bit sore. I still worked out today and then went for a walk with Fran and Mr. 3yr old (just turned 4 last Friday!) and his sister. I am surprised that we still went for a walk today, it was really cold. Very nippy and misty, I mean just walking in it makes your face and ears hurt. I just got back from her house about a half hour ago. I am really hungry, not super hungry like yesterday, just I would like to make my tummy stop talking kind of hungry, you know? I started Flyboy on the calorie website last night. He thinks it is really cool and is excited about it as well. Plus he is able to access it from his work computer. =) I don't think I will work out like I did today. I am going to give my muscles a day of rest. I haven't worked out like this in a while and well they aren't exactly as ready as my mind is. haha. So that means that Friday and Saturday I will be working out. Oh! At the end of this month Radar's girlfriend will be coming to visit him and Radar wants us all to go out to eat together and hang out some. Yay!! A couple OUR age. I mean I don't mind hanging out with the older adults, but since they all have kids and I don't yet, there isn't really much I have in common to talk about. I feel left out sometimes. Sure there are other things to talk about but they generally want to talk about their kids, I mean I understand and I know I will be just like them when we have kids too, but for the meantime, I'm a little left out. Not to mention the age gap. The 3yr old's parents are 27 and 29, and they are the youngest couple we hang out with... until now! yay. =) Sorry, I am just a little excited. I am really tired, I can't begin to tell ya... I didn't sleep to well last night. I blame it on Flyboy. When I washed our bedding I didn't put the pillow cases on the same pillows (we have like 6) and so he claimed that these certain pillows were his, a few tiffs, 2 tweaked necks and 3 days later (this morning) I get I think you are right about the pillows, lets switch really quick. That was like 800, the alarm goes off in a half hour, and after switching pillows I slept better and his neck pain went away completely. HA! Anyway, this computer chair isn't that comfortable and this silence is driving me bonkers, so I am going to head down to his building and wait with all the other wives . lol =) If I don't write more later I will be back tomorrow. Take care! ~NikiRose signing off

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeee
Mood: cheeky Now Playing: Skimarahdinky Dinky Dink Skimahrah Dinky Dooo I LOVE YOU!!! Well this is going to be a quick one (for now), I really need to put the groceries away…. Dun dun DUUUUN! Hehe Last night I came across this website where I can count my calories for free and such. It is AWESOME! I can put my recipes in there and it will calculate out a nutrition label for them, then I can save it under MyMeals and use it in my food journal. I can add work outs and it will calculate how many calories I burned it is really neat. =) Needless to say I was up late last night adding meals and activities. There is even a section where I can write, like on here. I have linked it on the left hand side of the page, under Misc as *Drifted*. If you want to read it, that is fine with me, but I tell you it will be more boring than this one. lol I decided I wanted to start it because I really need to lose the pounds, especially if I want to remain an encouragement to Flyboy. He is doing great and all but he really wants me to run with him, and I can’t because well one, I am out of running shape and two, my knees… So I am going to start thins up on my own pace and when I reach his level, then I will go from there. I figure I am going to use one of the 14 week workouts that prepare you for Air Force basic training. (Since Flyboy wants me to run with him and all) and like I said, then I will go from there. Plus this will build my confidence up and I won’t be as down all the time. I am really excited about this. Another reason is since we are planning on going to visit family in sunny California; I don’t want my weight to be something they can continue to pick on me for. (Whether they meant all the jabs playfully or not, it still hurt my feelings and it still does to this day. ) Anywho, Flyboy has given me a new name for my blogs (he felt really bad), so, I am no long Cadaver1, I am… NikiRose. I like it a lot better too. So don’t worry, it is still me writing on this thing. =) Well, I better update my food journal. Take Care!! Be Back Soon! ~NikiRose signing off for now ----------------------
I know, I know, I need to put away the groceries… grr Oh well, it is still really cool. I will repost the tracker once a week… maybe… haven’t quite decided yet. I am too excited to think got to go! ~NikiRose signing off

It's Not raining Yet...
Mood: sad Now Playing: Court TV Well, Mississippi Mom left on Saturday around 1500 and made it back home safely. We had a lot of fun. When she got here on Friday, Flyboy and I took her to “Build-A-Bear” and got her an animal that reminded her of my brother. I had him record a message for her on my cell phone and then we played it for the little button it its paw. I think it turned out really well. Hehe. The little animal is a puppy with goofy ears and he has desert BDU’s on with a little beret. I am really glad she likes him. =) Then we dropped of Flyboy with a Starbucks coffee and went thrift store shopping and what not. I found a new Blue Bunny to add to my collection and she came across a smaller purse. Flyboy gave us a curfew so we weren’t able to hang out all day; he wanted us home by 1800 so we could eat dinner and catch a movie. (He has been bugging since before we got married to go to the movies on base, so I gave in this time…) So we ended up watching Traitor (4 bucks a person hehe) it was pretty good, I didn’t like it of course, it really bothered me, but Mississippi Mom liked it and so did Flyboy. I feel bad that I have put off going to the movies there; I really wouldn’t mind going back. It doesn’t get too crowded, especially during college football season. =) Plus it doesn’t break the bank… It was around midnight by the time we got back, so we all ended up crashing after we came home. I feel bad that all we had was a Lazy Boy for her to sleep on. I offered her our room but she said she wanted to sleep in the living room. If it was her and The King then she wouldn’t mind but since he was at home she’d rather let us have our room. Needless to say we definitely will be investing in a couch before the computer desk. Anyway we woke up around 800 and Flyboy was sicker than a dog. He said he had been throwing up all night (well at least since 400) and he couldn’t sleep. He was in a bunch of pain. So Mississippi Mom and I went to the store and got him some medicine, saltine crackers and some 7up. (He never gets sick like this) He stayed in bed all day Saturday and Sunday. Early Sunday morning he was breaking fevers right and left. I was getting really worried too. One of them he was having trouble getting warm even though to touch him he was plenty warm. I made him take a hot shower and luckily that helped. I mean I have seen him break a fever or two, but this one he looked like someone had buried him knee deep in snow and left him there stark naked under a never ending downpour of ice water (like from a cooler). He of course told me today that he was scared himself (regarding that fever) and that if the shower didn’t warm him up, we would have made a trip to the hospital. Of course calling all the people we had to in order for that trip to be covered. Not very comforting words let me tell you. I asked him today (he is sitting in the living room in the Man Chair with his blue blanket with the heating pillow on his neck) how he is feeling and he said he feels better than he did. He said this morning when he woke up he was at 47% and after he ate the rest of his chicken noodle soup and some gold fish crackers he said he was up over 50%. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but on Saturday he was at 10%, so he is improving. =) He is actually walking around and not getting super light headed and dizzy. I have no clue why he got sick like this. I have a theory though. He ate everything Mississippi Mom and I ate, except for lunch. We had Carl’s Jr. and he had a salad at home. I am thinking the salad was bad, as in it had been in the fridge too long or it spoiled fast because he is notorious for not closing the cheese or lettuce or sandwich meat when he puts it back in the fridge. Then on top of that his immune system has been fighting the flu virus they gave him. He has to go to work tomorrow and by the way he has been improving I think he will be at 70%, cross my fingers. (Tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping again so after I post this I will be making another list. I don’t think we will need much, just the basics. ) The weather out here has been pretty decent, but it is dragging like none other. I really wish it would snow soon. I love the snow! Hopefully we will get enough that I can make a mini snowman in our little back year. Hehe Well, the dishes are taunting me; I must put them in their place. Lol I hope all is well with everyone else. ~Cadaver1 signing off

Oh Wa Tay Goo Sigh Am
Mood: cheeky Now Playing: Sounds Of Music Well, how is everyone doing? We are alright here. I am just waiting for Flyboy to send me the text “I’m off”. It has been a pretty quiet day, with the exception of the occasional wind gusts and the people arguing in my head. =) I have most of everything unpacked; the rest of it can just stay packed. (I have a feeling we will be moving again. Not anytime soon I am sure, but I just don’t want to have to pack it back up again, when we do have to move. We weren’t able to conduct that experiment last night about sleeping, time got away from us last night. I was talking to my brother for several hours after the Presidential debate and Flyboy was lost on Photoshop editing the character he drew. (He posted it on here yesterday. That picture took me from 1.2MB used to 2.0MB! grr. Oh well. I can share right?) Though, I will say last night was very weird. Generally I can get away with 5 hours of sleep, I mean I of course will be tired, but this morning I woke up feeling like I hadn’t slept at all. =/ Anywho… I think that I will have Flyboy post on here as well. I know how he is with emails (he’s been rubbing off on me =S) so I think this would be a good idea and plus I think hearing from me all the time get s a little old… “I’m tired, I think I am hungry, flyboy needs to do the dishes blah, blah, blah.” Anyway, on the left hand side of the page, under the calendar there is a category labeled “Entries by Topic” the underneath that should be a clickable link entitled “Flyboy Speaks”, I have all of his journal entries tied to that link, that way if you just want to read his, taa da! They are all right there at your fingertips. (Saves a lot of time…) hehe. Speaking of the left hand side of the page, I also linked all of the pictures like that too. They are found under Porter-Pics. (I think I wrote about this but I am not sure, but I will write about it again, just in case.) Anyway, each of those links will take you to the slideshow pictures of your choosing. =) The other links below it, under Misc, are just my favorite links. Of course there is Air Force Blues, that is an online comic written by a guy in the Air Force (I just got the text, be right back) (okay, I’m back) Then there is of course NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) in smaller terms, the weather. And last but not least is, Box Tops for Education. Flyboy and I signed up and we are helping out Power Presto’s (formerly Sir A.J. Knight of the Round Table) school. We have a BUNCH of Box Tops that we will be sending soon, (not tomorrow soon, but probably before next school year, soon). Anyway, they have coupons and bonus Box Tops too. They even have a section that lists ALL of the foods that come with Box Tops as well as a section that lists stores that donate money from your purchases to your school; like Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy… etc. It is pretty cool. =) there were a few schools last year that rose over 20 thousand dollars with Box Tops and there was a school in Arizona that rose over 31 thousand! (Of course it was a Navajo Lutheran school, but never the less.) Well, I better go for now, flyboy keeps bugging me about dinner. “What are we going to do for dinner?”…. “Hmm Have you figured out what we’ll do for dinner?” yeeah. I better go. Take care! ~NikiRose signing off.

Pancakes And Batter
Mood: accident prone Now Playing: Nightwish Topic: Flyboy Speaks Hey there everyone, Flyboy here!
It would appear that Cad is going to have me blog once a week… although I wish that I had a little more preparation time than just “Hey Flyboy, you should go blog.”. Hmm…
So I am on the last day of a four day weekend. This weekend has been great! I won’t repeat all the details, as Cad has beaten me to the punch. I had fun though, and that is what really matters. Sure, after the 8th thrift store, I was really sick of thrift store shopping, but I made sure that my time was properly compensated. That is why we watched the movie “An American Carol”.
Today, however, we have done pretty much nothing. I made some Chinese for lunch. I am getting pretty good at frying chicken, I think. I still don’t like to fry chicken legs, since they take quite a long time, but I am mastering the art. I have found just the right combination of spices, flour and cornstarch. I have found that flour alone doesn’t quite do the trick, since it doesn’t stick to the chicken properly. Cornstarch, a chef’s glue, does complete the formula. Anyway, I take my special combination and dip the chicken in a mixture of eggs and milk, followed by the flour mixture. I then fry to perfect, crunchy deliciousness. The Chinese, unsurprisingly, was pretty darn good.
Cad and I followed lunch by sitting in the bed for about two hours going over the reasons why we don’t get the best sleep in the world. It turns out that we begin by cuddling, but shortly after I fall asleep, I tend to turn in attempt to alleviate some of the pressure on my neck. That leads to Cad moving to a more comfortable position. Usually, this means that she has actually moved away from me, so I move closer to her. She responds by pulling me really close to her. In which I immediately move into a more comfortable position. She then finds a position which she finds comfortable for both of us. Then, she decides she is too hot and throws the blanket off of both of us… I get cold, put the blanket on myself. She gets cold, takes the blanket from me, where I pull myself extremely close to her. She gets hot… lather, rinse, repeat. So by the time the alarm goes off in the morning, we are both exhausted. I would suppose that is why we tend to rest better when we get over 8 hours of sleep, because when we subtract the amount of time we spend trying to get comfortable, at 8 hours, we receive only about 6 hours of actual sleep. I suppose tonight, I will try to head to bed earlier, to confirm my theory. I’m sure Cad will post the results tomorrow.
I’ve been spending some time drawing a picture of one of my characters in the story I’m making… at the moment, she is doubling as Cad’s character for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that we are members of. The most current draft of her is attached in following.
The character is not complete quite yet. I am still going to add a background and add some lighting effects, but that is pretty close to the final product.
Tomorrow, I go back to work again. I work Thursday, and then I am on another four-day weekend. I lucked out with the types of comp days I have been getting. I am getting a nice little mini vacation without taking any leave… I may just add some leave at the end of this month just for good measure. I grow so weary of my work… it has been nothing but sitting around day in and day out for the past 8 months… there is only so much that a man can take before it gets monotonous, you know? Sure, I get to fly every now and then, but the sitting around just twiddling my thumbs is aggravating. After these mini-vacations, I can get back to my goal of losing another 20 pounds. I have already gotten down to 220 pounds from 240 pounds, but I’m not stopping yet. I admit that I took a little break from working out in September, but now that I have finished off my birthday cake, that vacation is over again. It’s time to put the pedal to the medal, so to speak. I didn’t do much (if any) damage to myself thru September, which I am glad about, and now I am looking back downwards in weight. Cad and I have devised a nifty little workout plan that adds a little monetary compensation as motivation. The rule is: if I want to go out to eat or get any cool things, I must use money that I earn for myself by working out. Once a week, Cad will sit me down and count out how many push-ups, sit-ups and other various exercises and pay me according to how well I do. I believe that the payout is somewhere like 10 cents a push-up and sit-up and the maximum payout for this program a month is up to $150 (that is what we can afford.) I came up with this idea because of my bad habit of wanting to get fast food or candy… I figured that as long as I was working out to gain that money, I could get the treats and mitigate the damage.
Hmm… mind drifting off into fantasy land… time to complete blog.
Flyboy, zooming his way into another day!

I Know, I know...
Mood: happy Now Playing: La La Laaaa La Dee de De Dum LA LAAAA LA La... Good Evening! Today is a purple day, therefore I must write in purple. =) Don’t worry, I won’t write in colors too often. I am really enjoying this journal. =) I want to let everyone know (just incase you didn’t see the footnote on yesterdays entry) that I deleted the site that showed the pictures of our New Apartment. I decided that since I liked the slideshow, and it took up less space, I would from now on display pictures as a slide show. Much to my surprise, after I deleted the site, my account went from 20% space used down to 6%!!! (I am only allowed 20MB and that isn’t very much, especially when you have a bunch of pictures displayed like I did, AND a journal too.) Anywho… we just got back from running around doing absolutely nothing! It started off as a quest to find a shirt for a stuffed animal I am improving and well we drove all around the city ended up at a mall theater watching An American Carol. The movie was awesome. Great comedy! I am sure Flyboy will go into detail about it if you really want to set him off. Hehe I mean, even though we didn’t do much, It was a pretty busy day. We are glad to be home. =) I wanted to post earlier, like when we got up (0900) but we decided to go on an adventure before I could even check my email. Adventures are fun though. While we were out I decided to scout out a few thrift stores so I could make a possible itinerary for when Mississippi Mom comes to visit. I wish I could make this entry longer but I can’t concentrate. I really want to work on my teddy bear. (His name Maingi Bear) I am halfway done with stitching him up. I will explain later, like much, much later. Muahahaha! =D Anyway, I better go for now. We plan on being home most of the day. (Since Flyboy is off I am going to put him to good use… chores! I know, that sounds really mean, but we both live here and he is the one who makes the place messy most of the time. Honest.) Well, I am going to go for now. Sorry this is so late. =/ ~NikiRose signing off
