Well, Mississippi Mom left on Saturday around 1500 and made it back home safely. We had a lot of fun. When she got here on Friday, Flyboy and I took her to “Build-A-Bear” and got her an animal that reminded her of my brother. I had him record a message for her on my cell phone and then we played it for the little button it its paw. I think it turned out really well. Hehe. The little animal is a puppy with goofy ears and he has desert BDU’s on with a little beret. I am really glad she likes him. =) Then we dropped of Flyboy with a Starbucks coffee and went thrift store shopping and what not. I found a new Blue Bunny to add to my collection and she came across a smaller purse. Flyboy gave us a curfew so we weren’t able to hang out all day; he wanted us home by 1800 so we could eat dinner and catch a movie. (He has been bugging since before we got married to go to the movies on base, so I gave in this time…) So we ended up watching Traitor (4 bucks a person hehe) it was pretty good, I didn’t like it of course, it really bothered me, but Mississippi Mom liked it and so did Flyboy. I feel bad that I have put off going to the movies there; I really wouldn’t mind going back. It doesn’t get too crowded, especially during college football season. =) Plus it doesn’t break the bank… It was around midnight by the time we got back, so we all ended up crashing after we came home. I feel bad that all we had was a Lazy Boy for her to sleep on. I offered her our room but she said she wanted to sleep in the living room. If it was her and The King then she wouldn’t mind but since he was at home she’d rather let us have our room. Needless to say we definitely will be investing in a couch before the computer desk.
Anyway we woke up around 800 and Flyboy was sicker than a dog. He said he had been throwing up all night (well at least since 400) and he couldn’t sleep. He was in a bunch of pain. So Mississippi Mom and I went to the store and got him some medicine, saltine crackers and some 7up. (He never gets sick like this) He stayed in bed all day Saturday and Sunday. Early Sunday morning he was breaking fevers right and left. I was getting really worried too. One of them he was having trouble getting warm even though to touch him he was plenty warm. I made him take a hot shower and luckily that helped. I mean I have seen him break a fever or two, but this one he looked like someone had buried him knee deep in snow and left him there stark naked under a never ending downpour of ice water (like from a cooler). He of course told me today that he was scared himself (regarding that fever) and that if the shower didn’t warm him up, we would have made a trip to the hospital. Of course calling all the people we had to in order for that trip to be covered. Not very comforting words let me tell you. I asked him today (he is sitting in the living room in the Man Chair with his blue blanket with the heating pillow on his neck) how he is feeling and he said he feels better than he did. He said this morning when he woke up he was at 47% and after he ate the rest of his chicken noodle soup and some gold fish crackers he said he was up over 50%. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but on Saturday he was at 10%, so he is improving. =) He is actually walking around and not getting super light headed and dizzy. I have no clue why he got sick like this. I have a theory though. He ate everything Mississippi Mom and I ate, except for lunch. We had Carl’s Jr. and he had a salad at home. I am thinking the salad was bad, as in it had been in the fridge too long or it spoiled fast because he is notorious for not closing the cheese or lettuce or sandwich meat when he puts it back in the fridge. Then on top of that his immune system has been fighting the flu virus they gave him. He has to go to work tomorrow and by the way he has been improving I think he will be at 70%, cross my fingers. (Tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping again so after I post this I will be making another list. I don’t think we will need much, just the basics. )
The weather out here has been pretty decent, but it is dragging like none other. I really wish it would snow soon. I love the snow! Hopefully we will get enough that I can make a mini snowman in our little back year. Hehe
Well, the dishes are taunting me; I must put them in their place. Lol I hope all is well with everyone else.

Well, how is everyone doing?
We are alright here. I am just waiting for Flyboy to send me the text “I’m off”. It has been a pretty quiet day, with the exception of the occasional wind gusts and the people arguing in my head. =) I have most of everything unpacked; the rest of it can just stay packed. (I have a feeling we will be moving again. Not anytime soon I am sure, but I just don’t want to have to pack it back up again, when we do have to move.
We weren’t able to conduct that experiment last night about sleeping, time got away from us last night. I was talking to my brother for several hours after the Presidential debate and Flyboy was lost on Photoshop editing the character he drew. (He posted it on here yesterday. That picture took me from 1.2MB used to 2.0MB! grr. Oh well. I can share right?) Though, I will say last night was very weird. Generally I can get away with 5 hours of sleep, I mean I of course will be tired, but this morning I woke up feeling like I hadn’t slept at all. =/
Anywho… I think that I will have Flyboy post on here as well. I know how he is with emails (he’s been rubbing off on me =S) so I think this would be a good idea and plus I think hearing from me all the time get s a little old… “I’m tired, I think I am hungry, flyboy needs to do the dishes blah, blah, blah.”Anyway, on the left hand side of the page, under the calendar there is a category labeled “Entries by Topic” the underneath that should be a clickable link entitled “Flyboy Speaks”, I have all of his journal entries tied to that link, that way if you just want to read his, taa da! They are all right there at your fingertips. (Saves a lot of time…) hehe.
Speaking of the left hand side of the page, I also linked all of the pictures like that too. They are found under Porter-Pics. (I think I wrote about this but I am not sure, but I will write about it again, just in case.) Anyway, each of those links will take you to the slideshow pictures of your choosing. =) The other links below it, under Misc, are just my favorite links. Of course there is Air Force Blues, that is an online comic written by a guy in the Air Force (I just got the text, be right back) (okay, I’m back) Then there is of course NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) in smaller terms, the weather. And last but not least is, Box Tops for Education. Flyboy and I signed up and we are helping out Power Presto’s (formerly Sir A.J. Knight of the Round Table) school. We have a BUNCH of Box Tops that we will be sending soon, (not tomorrow soon, but probably before next school year, soon). Anyway, they have coupons and bonus Box Tops too. They even have a section that lists ALL of the foods that come with Box Tops as well as a section that lists stores that donate money from your purchases to your school; like Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy… etc. It is pretty cool. =) there were a few schools last year that rose over 20 thousand dollars with Box Tops and there was a school in Arizona that rose over 31 thousand! (Of course it was a Navajo Lutheran school, but never the less.)
Well, I better go for now, flyboy keeps bugging me about dinner. “What are we going to do for dinner?”…. “Hmm Have you figured out what we’ll do for dinner?” yeeah. I better go. Take care! ~NikiRose signing off.

Hey there everyone, Flyboy here!
It would appear that Cad is going to have me blog once a week… although I wish that I had a little more preparation time than just “Hey Flyboy, you should go blog.”.Hmm…
So I am on the last day of a four day weekend. This weekend has been great!I won’t repeat all the details, as Cad has beaten me to the punch.I had fun though, and that is what really matters.Sure, after the 8th thrift store, I was really sick of thrift store shopping, but I made sure that my time was properly compensated. That is why we watched the movie “An American Carol”.
Today, however, we have done pretty much nothing.I made some Chinese for lunch. I am getting pretty good at frying chicken, I think. I still don’t like to fry chicken legs, since they take quite a long time, but I am mastering the art.I have found just the right combination of spices, flour and cornstarch.I have found that flour alone doesn’t quite do the trick, since it doesn’t stick to the chicken properly.Cornstarch, a chef’s glue, does complete the formula.Anyway, I take my special combination and dip the chicken in a mixture of eggs and milk, followed by the flour mixture.I then fry to perfect, crunchy deliciousness. The Chinese, unsurprisingly, was pretty darn good.
Cad and I followed lunch by sitting in the bed for about two hours going over the reasons why we don’t get the best sleep in the world. It turns out that we begin by cuddling, but shortly after I fall asleep, I tend to turn in attempt to alleviate some of the pressure on my neck. That leads to Cad moving to a more comfortable position.Usually, this means that she has actually moved away from me, so I move closer to her.She responds by pulling me really close to her. In which I immediately move into a more comfortable position. She then finds a position which she finds comfortable for both of us.Then, she decides she is too hot and throws the blanket off of both of us… I get cold, put the blanket on myself. She gets cold, takes the blanket from me, where I pull myself extremely close to her.She gets hot… lather, rinse, repeat. So by the time the alarm goes off in the morning, we are both exhausted.I would suppose that is why we tend to rest better when we get over 8 hours of sleep, because when we subtract the amount of time we spend trying to get comfortable, at 8 hours, we receive only about 6 hours of actual sleep.I suppose tonight, I will try to head to bed earlier, to confirm my theory.I’m sure Cad will post the results tomorrow.
I’ve been spending some time drawing a picture of one of my characters in the story I’m making… at the moment, she is doubling as Cad’s character for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that we are members of.The most current draft of her is attached in following.
The character is not complete quite yet. I am still going to add a background and add some lighting effects, but that is pretty close to the final product.
Tomorrow, I go back to work again. I work Thursday, and then I am on another four-day weekend. I lucked out with the types of comp days I have been getting. I am getting a nice little mini vacation without taking any leave… I may just add some leave at the end of this month just for good measure. I grow so weary of my work… it has been nothing but sitting around day in and day out for the past 8 months… there is only so much that a man can take before it gets monotonous, you know? Sure, I get to fly every now and then, but the sitting around just twiddling my thumbs is aggravating. After these mini-vacations, I can get back to my goal of losing another 20 pounds. I have already gotten down to 220 pounds from 240 pounds, but I’m not stopping yet. I admit that I took a little break from working out in September, but now that I have finished off my birthday cake, that vacation is over again. It’s time to put the pedal to the medal, so to speak. I didn’t do much (if any) damage to myself thru September, which I am glad about, and now I am looking back downwards in weight. Cad and I have devised a nifty little workout plan that adds a little monetary compensation as motivation. The rule is: if I want to go out to eat or get any cool things, I must use money that I earn for myself by working out. Once a week, Cad will sit me down and count out how many push-ups, sit-ups and other various exercises and pay me according to how well I do. I believe that the payout is somewhere like 10 cents a push-up and sit-up and the maximum payout for this program a month is up to $150 (that is what we can afford.) I came up with this idea because of my bad habit of wanting to get fast food or candy… I figured that as long as I was working out to gain that money, I could get the treats and mitigate the damage.
Hmm… mind drifting off into fantasy land… time to complete blog.

Good Evening!
Today is a purple day, therefore I must write in purple. =) Don’t worry, I won’t write in colors too often.I am really enjoying this journal. =) I want to let everyone know (just incase you didn’t see the footnote on yesterdays entry) that I deleted the site that showed the pictures of our New Apartment. I decided that since I liked the slideshow, and it took up less space, I would from now on display pictures as a slide show. Much to my surprise, after I deleted the site, my account went from 20% space used down to 6%!!! (I am only allowed 20MB and that isn’t very much, especially when you have a bunch of pictures displayed like I did, AND a journal too.)
Anywho… we just got back from running around doing absolutely nothing! It started off as a quest to find a shirt for a stuffed animal I am improving and well we drove all around the city ended up at a mall theater watching An American Carol. The movie was awesome. Great comedy! I am sure Flyboy will go into detail about it if you really want to set him off. Hehe I mean, even though we didn’t do much, It was a pretty busy day. We are glad to be home. =)
I wanted to post earlier, like when we got up (0900) but we decided to go on an adventure before I could even check my email. Adventures are fun though. While we were out I decided to scout out a few thrift stores so I could make a possible itinerary for when Mississippi Mom comes to visit. I wish I could make this entry longer but I can’t concentrate. I really want to work on my teddy bear. (His name Maingi Bear) I am halfway done with stitching him up. I will explain later, like much, much later. Muahahaha! =D Anyway, I better go for now. We plan on being home most of the day. (Since Flyboy is off I am going to put him to good use… chores! I know, that sounds really mean, but we both live here and he is the one who makes the place messy most of the time. Honest.) Well, I am going to go for now. Sorry this is so late. =/

Good afternoon!
I thought I would change it up a bit and write in color! I am thinking about changing colors but, I think that may get annoying. I hope everyone is doing well today; we hear the weather has been pretty icky out there. We will be getting hit tonight with storms and they should last until about Tuesday or Wednesday. I don’t remember, I could check, but I am feeling lazy at the moment.
Flyboy and I just got back from the trip to Jack in the Box. We ended up going to a different one this trip. The one that was farthest away, before we moved, is now the closest (It was only 88 miles! That is much better than the 150 mile away one.) Flyboy was excited since there was new scenery. This town of course was really, really small, so there wasn’t much to do there, especially on a Sunday.I decided to take pictures too. In a few minutes I will upload them, and then finish writing. I think I will put them in a slide again, I really like how the last one turned out. (Though I hope you guys like the slide too…)
Friday was pretty crazy. After the catering event we ended up falling asleep during Robin Hood Men in Tights, (we thought we would watch a movie for once) which of course messed up our sleep cycle AGAIN. (I have noticed a pattern here; our schedules always get messed up on the weekends.) So we stayed up all of Friday night until about 1500 Saturday, mainly playing chess. (I am getting much, much better at it. I actually won 3 times in a row!) Then Flyboy decided he couldn’t take staying awake any longer and decided we would go to bed. Next thing we know we wake up and its 0700 Sunday morning! I don’t think I have slept that long in ages, and I do not really want to do it again. So that us why I didn’t post yesterday and am posting today. =) I don’t know how tomorrow and Tuesday will work since Flyboy is off, Wednesday and Thursday should be the morning post like usual and then I may not be able to post until Sunday the 12th, since Mississippi Mom is coming to visit. =D Aywho… I better upload those pictures. I will be back a.s.a.p. ~NikiRose signing off temporarily.
Okay, I’m back. That didn’t take as long as I had thought it would. I wrote comments on each of the pictures, so they show up during the slide show. You may have to watch it twice, one to look at the pictures and the other to read the comments. I set the speed to fast again, so they go by fast like the last slide show I posted. I almost decided to make it play at medium speed (there are only three choices; slow medium and fast) but medium took too long. Oh well. =) I would have taken more pictures, but I was focused on driving and Flyboy was staring out the window, lost in his own world. (Like always of course *rolls eyes*) Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the show! Hehe. Take care! Good night!

Please don't be upset =S I will however have that particular entry "clickable" on the left hand side of the page under Porter-Pics, that way you don't have to remember. We have returned!
We just got back from the catering event. We served over 1600 people! Most of them went to our buffet line too! We had 3 tables set up all with the same items; chips, nachos, baked beans, and choice of a corndog (8 inch one) a brisket or and Indian taco. Everyone seemed a bit confused so I would announce the items at the table; we ended up getting the most people because of it. I am exhausted! I think I may cash in one of the 50 back massages Flyboy owes me. (He likes to make bets with me and since it’s a bit redundant to bet money, we bet back massages or of the like. He loses a lot. Hehe) anyway, had a good time and he got two comp days, which he his being forced to take on Monday and Tuesday… yay! Four day weekend!
Yesterday on my way to pick up Flyboy, I stopped at Target and picked up a chess set. He was stoked! He wanted to play all night too, I said no. Earlier that day I had been reading about it and practicing so it wasn’t as hard as I thought it was. I think I am getting the hang of it. The first two games he slaughtered me. I told him to be nice too, apparently he forgets or something. I told him we could play one before we went to bed so of course that game had to last like 3 hours. =/ I pinned his king in the corner with my king and queen, so it ended with a stalemate. I have trouble with the “check” concept and what not. But I am getting better. =)
I have no clue as to what dinner will consist of. Hopefully it will be something that will cook itself, without me having to move. I think I may need to get new inserts for my shoes, my feet ache WAY too much for the 6 hours… yay me…. (Flyboy just came back from getting the mail and he just sat down and started massaging my feet. I didn’t say a word either! I think that is worth… what 10 points?Hehe Barely two years and got him trained with automatic foot massages! =D Anywho, yeah, they hurt WAY too much for the 6 hours of standing.
I am sorry this one is so short. I am having hard time thinking, I am really tired. It was bright and windy out there so, I am slightly sun burnt and wind burnt, on top of tiredness. Lol. I hope everyone is doing well! Take care! ~NikiRose signing off

Not much is going on here. Yesterday we ended up crashing early, like 1800 early! I think all that sleep was good for Flyboy; he seems a lot better today. The ribs came out great! Hehe (no doubt they wouldn’t, but yeah) (Wow! The guys are busy with transitions early this morning. There are a bunch of them out there flying!)
Today will be a laid back day. I will work on some more flash cards while I finish cooking all that meat, but that is about it. Flyboy didn’t have to be at work again until 930, so I had a late morning. This afternoon when he gets off I am going to have him teach me how to play chess. He has been bugging about it for a while. I learned how a long time ago, but for some reason I didn’t retain the knowledge.
Anyway, I still haven’t heard from my employer, so I will call her in about 20 minutes. I know I said I would call her Friday, but this is really starting to annoy me and plus it’s on my credit not theirs. I would also like to resolve this so it isn’t on the back of my mind. Speaking of which, I got a hold of Equifax and am having them do an investigation regarding the Mercy account and the one that says I owed twice as much as I paid. I called up that company and they sent me a statement saying it was paid, and they will be notifying Equifax themselves. (though it will take 30 days for it to update.) Anywho, I better start cooking, the meat isn’t getting any younger…

“Hey! Flyboy here! I just wanted to thank everyone for the cards and phone calls that I received for my birthday…they were most appreciated!I have taken control over the computer for the time being… Cad is making me flash cards so I can study later. But at the moment, the computer is under my command… ha ha ha! (Insert a more maniacal and devious tone to my laughter, please.)
For those of you who haven’t had the chance to meet me yet, I should point out that I don’t like to be very serious unless there really is something serious happening. There is a time and place in which to act serious; but, as I see it, those times are (and as should be) few and far between. It is my philosophy that we should never be kept down by bad situations… if you only view the negative, that is all you will ever come to see. True, as I have found out, this philosophy may make me naïve at times, but I find that this outlook can really enhance a life. As a friend of mine once said, “Life is nothing without a smile.”
Hm… I seem to be babbling more than actually saying what happened today… Cad dropped me off at work, where I spent the morning trying to schedule flights.I am afraid that I can’t be more specific.I can’t have terrorists or anybody like that know what is going on with my job, you know?
While I was at work, Cad worked on the aforementioned flash cards. She is currently eating a salad and is preparing the ribs for my dinner. Those ribs were originally for consumption yesterday night, but, as Radar and I had wished to get some hot wings, Cad had no time to actually make ribs; especially since after Radar and I returned to work, we had to stay there till 1700 because some old guy had to get promoted. Blah.
This whole week, Cad and I are celebrating my birthday little by little. Most of the festivities are planned over the upcoming four-day weekend that I have earned at work.We are going to be driving down southward to have some Jack in the Box.There is only two JB’s in the entire state, and one of them is four hours away. Bah. I am not sure about the rest of the time… Cad seems intent on surprising me.
In other news, I am enjoying our new apartments. They really are so much more peaceful than the old ones.I can’t tell you enough about how nervous it made me to walk down the stairs at my old place, in my uniform and coming face to face with exactly 20 gang members, with their pants hanging low and their pounding music. I was afraid that I was going to be shot! Not to mention that there were several shootings right outside our window, and that when we moved in we found quite a few bullet holes patched up in the walls.Hm… it didn’t take much logic to figure that we weren’t particularly safe in that neighborhood. We considered living on base for a little bit (police have bigger, better guns!), but we decided against that.Better financially to live where we are at. Now, the only riff-raff that comes along are the few that sneak into the gates after someone has entered.
The ribs are looking delicious! We just checked on them and, well… yay me!
I am really looking forward to visiting California.Cad has really spent a lot of time describing it to me, and it sounds like a really fun trip! However, the only problem with the trip is the expensive price tag… it will take a lot of money.Heading to Washington would also be nice, as well. But, as things go, it will also be expensive (though not quite as much…).It would appear that I need to work on getting a promotion.
Cad is playing Final Fantasy 8 at the moment now.The aroma of barbequed ribs drift into my nose.A sense of peace…
Well… my mind has exhausted all useful information… I doubt that anyone will want to hear my ranting on nonsense, so at this moment, I will bid adieu.
I can’t believe it is almost 1400! This morning I went grocery shopping and then came back home to take Flyboy to work. (He didn’t have to be at work until 930. He wasn’t feeling too good this morning, so I didn’t have him go shopping with me. I think the flu shot/spray he got is finally catching up with him. Yeah, he said that if he had to fly today, he would go to sick call instead. He doesn’t give up flying that easily, which means he really wasn’t feeling good. =/ after I took him to work, like an hour later he was on lunch. Flyboy and Radar decided to cash in the meal we owed him, this afternoon. So I was told to meet them at… well, Hooters. Radar is a hot wing addict and well, that was the place to go out here. It was definitely an experience. (Today was my first time going there) I will be up front, I am not a hot wing fan, but I tell you, I am now. I ordered the teriyaki wings, (I don’t like spicy stuff) and they were amazing! I will say I definitely will be back for their wings! (Ordering them to go of course)
Now I am finally home. Radar said he would drop off Flyboy, (yay me!) so I can put my feet up. Though I do need to start cooking all the meat I just bought, so I can put it in the freezer. You know, I did some math and Flyboy only works 4 days this whole entire pay period.(until the 14th) Four days! Speaking of that, this Friday I more than likely won’t be writing until after 1430. The catering event should be over by then. We have to be there from 0800 until 1430.
Oh! I called my employer yesterday and she said she does have new information regarding that bill, but she was in the middle of a meeting and said she would call me back. I haven’t heard from her yet, but I will give her until Friday to call and then I will call her back.
I think I am going to clean around here some. Ttyl. Take Care!
I know, I know, it’s 0340, I should be in bed. I am really tired and accidentally screwed up my sleeping pattern by having late night coffee on Saturday. =S I honestly didn’t realize how late it was until I noticed Flyboy doing his “sleepy eye rub” haha. (He doesn’t even realize he does it! I think that is the funny part because he seems so surprised that I know when he is tired. =D)
Anyway, I won’t write for too long, my hands are cold. (Maybe I should type with glove on or something?)Flyboy was suppose to have today off, it being his birthday and all, but a bunch of guys at work have been ditching important meetings and well, no more scheduled off days this week. =/ So, he has to take his birthday-comp day on the 10 of Oct. But, he at least gets a half day! (He gets to come home after the Wing picture) We have decided to just make this WHOLE week a LONG birthday week. (With the exception of Friday, that is a catering event we have volunteered to help with. And knowing Flyboy he probably put us down for the night shift… which means he’ll be extra tired…) By LONG week I mean he has a 4 day weekend this weekend, in fact he has two 4 day weekends in a row! I am beginning to think he has more days off than school kids! Lol. Better not say too much more, I might jinx it. He wants to do his birthday dinner later in the week, and hang out with Radar on Thursday, and today, he will get his surprise after he gets home. (hehe, he has no clue =D) I will definitely take a few pictures and I will post them before we sit down for dinner (birthday sandwiches… go figure)! I am really excited too! (All his other birthdays, he has been flying =/)
Oh I want to say thank you Moma Mouse for the tips with the dryer. I unplugged it and got back there with vacuum and it seems to be drying quicker! =D
I can’t believe September is already over; well technically it won’t be over until Wednesday, but still. October will fly by fast too; it is a pretty busy month for us. Of course this is Flyboy’s Birthday Week, so that will be busy, this Friday is the catering event, I need to finish cleaning and unpacking before the following Friday (10th) because my mom is coming out to visit! =D hehe. Then the following week is payday, and he has a few flights in there as well as a couple other volunteer events… Then Bam! November… My goodness…
Oh, the weirdest thing… I had gotten some new hand lotion and some new deodorant (they were on sale) and the lotion smells like chocolate chip cookie dough and the deodorant smells like smarties! Weird combination to have on I tell ya. I didn’t realize it until Flyboy was like, you smell weird dear. What have you been cooking today? I was slightly insulted at first but after we figured it out, it was funny. The odd thing though (this story isn’t as funny written out as it is in my head, sorry.) The deodorant is suppose to smell like blueberries (I don’t like the strawberry one. I am a bit burnt on strawberry smelling stuff) and the lotion is cocoa and Shea butter. (That makes a bit more sense, but it is still weird) So the lesson from this story is smell EVERYTHING before you buy it… yes, even pets. hehe
I think I am getting a bit too tired I think I may take a shower to wake up a bit. I should jump in there soon though, it’s almost 0500. The alarm goes off in about and hour and a half and I don’t know how long it takes the hot water to… refill? Is that the word I’m looking for? I don’t know. *shrugs* I know you all know what I am talking about though, so it really doesn’t matter. Ha! I think I will make him breakfast when he gets up. He generally has coffee on the way to work and then eats the breakfast that I pack him in his lunch box. Don’t worry, he has lunch in there too and small healthy snacks to boost the metabolism. I am thinking breakfast burritos… fluffy eggs, cheddar cheese, onions, hash browns (possibly), bacon (I found some ends and pieces at Wal-Mart!!! I cooked them up in the George Foreman and tossed them in the freezer) and maybe some sausage, if we have it of course. Since he should be home for lunch I am either thinking my grilled chicken wraps (grilled chicken, homemade honey mustard dressing ((vinegar, honey, mustard, olive oil)) fresh spinach and some Tomato and Basil Wheat Thins, to give it a tomato flavor and a crunch) or my crazy salad (lettuce, fresh spinach, chopped baby carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes ((if I have them. I don’t like them so they are only bought on special request)); little bit of peanuts, crushed Tomato and Basil Wheat Thins, and Fiber One ((the twiggy looking kind)), a pinch of cheese and of course my dressing). I am not a big fan of salads, I like mine simple… a lot of cheese and some lettuce/spinach. Flyboy on the other hand LOVES it. The salad ingredients change, because, well, I like experimenting when I cook. Hehe. Flyboy seems to enjoy it too, so, why not? I was thinking about putting some mandarin oranges on it, but I forgot to get some last payday. Oh well.
Holy Cow!! If I am going to shower I better do it now. I will be right back…
Okay, I’m back. That didn’t take too long. Great… Of course, right after I get out of the shower (the very warm shower) the AC kicks on… That means… it’s blanket time! *burr* I know, I could turn up the AC so it is warmer, but then it gets too hot. I haven’t been able to find that happy medium yet. I know I like it really cold, I LOVE snuggling underneath my covers, teehee, but I don’t like it so cold that I have to wear socks. (My feet freeze too easily…thanks mom. =/ anyway… breakfast… what do you think? I think I am really hungry right now and will have a hard time waiting until Flyboy wakes up. I know I can resist, must… think… about… puppies! I could start tidying up from the lazy weekend right now, but I lack the energy, if only I could move things with my mind… *ponders* that would be pretty cool though. Sitting back and relaxing in your favorite chair and just telling the house to clean up it’s self. Hehe the whole early morning “honey, I can’t find [insert object]. Do you know where it is?” situation, and you really don’t want to get out of bed to get it because you know if you tell him where it is you’ll get into the, “what? I didn’t hear you”
“It’s in the…”
“In the drawer, which one?”
“I just told you”
water running while he’s shaving, so he isn’t really paying attention to your answer because he doesn’t want cut himself, conversation. So you pry yourself out of bet to fetch it for him, even though you technically don’t need to be up for another 45 minutes. Instead you could just {insert object} and tell it appear on the sink countertop, roll over and snuggle underneath those warm, cozy blankets. Though I think it would get old after a while. Then of course if you forget about the ability…
Anyway, I think I am going to find everything I need to make this oh, so fancy breakfast. Hmm.. hot cocoa would be tasty too. Ooh! And we even have, wait, aww, no, we ran out of whipped cream last week. Grr, oh well. I could do, cocoa coffee =D I know he likes that. Yay me! I am going to go for now. I will write more about the plans today (they aren’t that extravagant, but I am still excited) after I take him to work. (He can’t read my blog from the computers there unless he goes to the library, which he will be stuck doing pictures so I really don’t have to worry about that). I shall return in a matter of about 3 hours? Possibly?

Lesson #1 – Food coloring … stains
Mental Note #1 – Food coloring is an OUTside project
Okay, time to relax-ish. My whole surprise was to bake him a cake. (See I told you it wasn’t that exciting) However this is my first “official” cake, made all by myself. After poking and prodding Flyboy, slyly, I found out that he really, really likes German Chocolate Cake. (I knew that, but I wanted to double check. His taste buds seem to change with his moods. Go figure) So, I decided I would bake him a cake. What, oh what to make it look like… hmm… Since this is last minute idea, it can’t be too complicated… oh! I know!! A Rotor dome! His cake looks like an AWACS rotor dome. Hehe =D He is going to love it! I can’t wait! Yes, I took pictures and in a minute here I am going to upload them onto the computer. When he gets home I will take more. I feel so mean, =D, he asked if we could buy a cake and I told him “I don’t know, they are really expensive now days” He looked really sad, “I know. Okay, hmm, what else can we do?” I was being honest, so I guess I am not that bad, but I can’t wait for him to grin from ear to ear. I know I am only going to post one picture, I would post all four of them but it would be a little pointless being that they are the same picture. (I was just getting a bunch that way I could pick the best one. the lighting isn’t too good in the kitchen. Maybe I could open the blinds and let in some natural light… hmm I don’t know.
I had some coffee this morning, but I am still tired. I am starting to loose my boost. I can’t crash now; I have to go grocery shopping in the morning. I have laundry going and I cleaned up some, and I finished the cake. I am making some progress. Speaking of progress, I need to call up my previous employer and get an update. The last time I called she had called the bank up to dig for an old check because the hospital was giving her the run around. I think I will do that. I shall update when I get off the phone. Ta ta for now =)

Hello, I’m back again. I took the pictures and because there were so many, I decided to put them into a slide show. (I am running out of free space on this site and I am not ready to start paying for more space yet). Plus when you watch the slide (I wish it would go faster) it seems like you are actually watching the event, live. Maybe that could just be me. I don’t know. I like it and therefore that’s how it will be. I did take pictures of half the apartment, but I won’t put them up until I take pictures of the rest of the place. I need to check on laundry and Flyboy is getting hungry now. Hope everyone is having a good day so far! Take care! Good night!
